Ramiran 2023
Ramiran 2023 was held from September 12 to 14 in Cambridge. The LIFE CLINMED-FARM project and the preliminary results obtained so far were presented through four communications in presentation and poster format. M. Friuli and F. Dela Pierre explained the progress of the Italian case study in the frequent removal of manure from a dairy cattle barn, the effect of the use of additives in livestock feeding and greenhouse gas and ammonia emissions produced when using digestate as organic fertilizer. On the other hand, A. Perea presented the general project and N. Mateo presented the ammonia emissions generated by the pig slurry stored in a lagoon in the reference scenario of the Spanish case study.
Below are the links to the presentations and posters:
- NH3 and GHG emissions from maize cultivation for silage on a sandy-loam soil fertilized with three different slurries – presentation
- Strategies for greenhouse gas and ammonia emissions mitigation in dairy houses – presentation
- Ammonia volatilization from an uncovered pig slurry storage lagoon – poster
- Sustainable and efficient slurry management models for approaching climate neutral farms – poster
